Ideas for Summer Travel

Being a California Native and growing up in tge the Bay Area,  I finally made it to Alcatraz  and also the Palace of Fine Arts ad well as a shot of the Painted Ladies.

Well I finally did it! I created my own website to display my photography of life! Seniors, Wedding Receptions, Senior Balls and of course the landscapes that I have taken lately! For Chinese calligrapher Liu Rusheng, who had narrowly escaped death six times in his long lifetime, his seventh and final brush with mortality proved to be the most unlucky. . .  He said once — “I enjoy and treasure life even more,” he wrote of his repeated returns from the brink.   He quite literally marked his great luck by carrying a rubber stamp that said, “shang cang hou wo”, which translates to “God bless me.”

It’s been over 14 years since we had the opportunity to attend a Cub’s game !  Jared and Austin were 4 and 6 and don’t remember but glad we had a chance before moving back to Norcal.

I know most of us here are Giant’s fans but I recommend taking at look at the historic photos!

There’s a moment toward the end of ‘Stories We Tell’, the Canadian actor Sarah Polley’s hybrid reconstruction-documentary-group therapy session, that I think may stay with me forever.  At least I hope it will, so wise is its appreciation of the work of being human, the hope of moving beyond past failures and sorrow, and the invitation each of us receives to make a life as a participant in something much larger than ourselves.  Call it the out-working of the redemption of humanity, call it being etched into the Panorama of Being, call it the pursuit of happiness – whatever it is, Sarah Polley’s dad knows what he’s talking about when he says ‘You can’t outrun the mask of comedy.’
